This is the page where we review and talk about books in the 12+ range. Generally, for me, a Teen/YA book has content that a younger reader might have difficulty understanding. Or there might be content pertaining to drugs, sexual relationships, swearing and more graphic violence for example. It’s a tough decision in some ways to put a book in this category when you know that there are many younger competent readers out there who would really enjoy it. So readers, if it is in this category and you want to read it and you are under 12 then it’s on your own head if a parental unit finds out or is unhappy with your choice. If the book you want to read is here, then it’s because we think the content might upset younger readers and sensible grown-ups whose job it is to look after you.
